Terms of service

AI Mention Score asks AI assistants, currently ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, the questions people ask when they are choosing a local business, records which businesses the assistants recommend, and turns that into a report with a score and a list of suggested fixes.

A free report is a one-off. A paid plan re-runs the same questions every week, emails you what changed and unlocks every fix in your report.

AI assistants give different answers from one session to the next. Every report is a snapshot of what the assistants said when we asked, and the trend over several weeks is more reliable than any single result.

We do not control what any AI assistant recommends. We do not guarantee that your business will be recommended, that your score will rise, or that it will rise by any date. Our fixes are recommendations based on what we checked, and some are labelled as unverified where we could not confirm them for your business.

Plans are billed monthly in advance, in US dollars, through our payment provider Stripe. Your plan renews automatically each month until you cancel. We will tell you at least 30 days before any price change takes effect for your plan.

There is no contract and you can cancel at any time, by replying to any of our emails or writing to hello@aimentionscore.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for, and you keep your weekly checks until then. We do not refund part-months. If something has gone wrong with your service, tell us and we will put it right, which may include a refund.

Nothing in these terms affects any rights you have under law that cannot be excluded.

Reports are for understanding and improving your own business's visibility. Please do not resell our reports, scrape the site, or use the service in a way that breaks the law or the terms of the AI assistants we use.

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on a report, for what third-party AI assistants say, or for any loss of business, revenue or profit. Our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited.

We may update these terms. If a change affects paid plans materially, we will email subscribers before it takes effect.
